Jamie Goode writes a rough draft of the potentially best new-viticulture book of the decade.
The New Viticulture
The science of growing grapes for wine
£34, £18 (student edition)
I agree with author Jamie Goode that ‘viticulture is at a turning point’ and that ‘it can’t carry on as it is now’. I agree that, with that in mind, ‘There is a need for a readable, up-to-date and global book on growing grapes for wine’, written not as a textbook or manual for viticulturists or aspiring winegrowers but for the wine trade in general.
