As at least eight examples of on-screen skulduggery and deception in phone-in programmes are admitted by the BBC Director General, we would just like to assure you that we have never faked a response, comment or answer to a competition on this site.
We are devastated to hear that a competition was reportedly rigged for Comic Relief and for Sports Relief as what happens to the money raised thereby is so utterly admirable (see Wine Relief 2007 raises £750,000+). I can only assume that these editorial lapses occurred because of some technical shortcoming as it seems hardly credible...
