Buy 2013 Brunello is Walter's message.
The just-released 2014 Brunellos are expected to face strong headwinds once they are available in the international market later this spring, and not only because of the very testing conditions under which the grapes were grown. They will be plagued by comparisons with the 2013 Riservas released at the same time, of which quite a few are nothing less than stellar, if with very different price tags.
