I can’t resist passing on this news just in: The family-owned group Domaine Jean-Michel Cazes has just acquired Domaine des Sénéchaux in Châteauneuf-du-Pape which has been owned by the Roux family since 1993.
This property, which produces pretty good white as well as red, joins Chx Lynch-Bages, Ormes de Pez, and Cordeillan-Bages, and Villa Bel Air in Bordeaux, L’Ostal Cazes in La Livinière, Languedoc and joint ventures in Portugal (Xisto in the Douro) and South Australia (Tapanappa).
