There is no better time to taste the wines of Barolo – arguably no other region has caused more excitement over the past decade and the 2019 vintage is outstanding, joining the ranks of recent greats such as 2016 and 2013. The region has seen increased focus on expressions of single plots, many estates have found a sweet spot between modern and traditional winemaking approaches and the wines are some of the world’s most complex and age-worthy reds. The tasting is an opportunity to taste many of the wines that will be available to purchase in our 2019 Barolo en primeur offer – launching late March 2023. The Fine Wine team will be on hand to answer questions, having recently visited to taste at many of the estates on show. We look forward to seeing you there.
