Invitation to our monthly tasting – The Winery W9

You are invited to our next tasting on Wednesday 8th May from 17.00-21.00h at our shop in Clifton Road W9. We’ll be showing new arrivals from Germany, France and Italy.

We all enjoyed Hannes Rottensteiner’s Weissburgunder/Pinot Bianco from the Alto Adige last month, so we thought we’d show one of his Alpine reds called Edelvernatsch, otherwise known as Schiava in other parts of Italy or Trollinger in Germany. http://www.thewineryuk.com/growers/rottensteiner/

Also, picked-up last week from the Ahr valley near Bonn and brand new to the UK, silky, smoky, autumnal Spatburgunder (that’s German for Pinot Noir) by Peter Lingen.
