Water

Wednesday 26 December 2007 • 1 min read
This is a semi-serious suggestion, and a nannying reminder that no liquid is better for us than H2O. I used to enjoy sparkling water but have realised how crazy it is to be shipping heavy glass bottles of water around the world so have weaned myself off mineral water and am now a great fan of chilled, settled tap water – even asking for it regularly in restaurants. (I say settled because London tap can be pretty nasty straight from the source.

I’m sure I’m not the only wine taster to be regularly reminded of just how wonderful a drink water can be – especially after a heavy wine tasting or period of self indulgence.

Happy Boxing Day to my fellow Brits.
