German 2016s – a guide

• 1 min read

Below is a list of all the articles we have published so far on the excellent 2016 vintage in Germany, the most recent at the top. Jancis and Michael will be tasting the VDP's Grosse Gewächse (the plural of Grosses Gewächs) at the end of August in Wiesbaden, which is the very first official opportunity to taste these dry wines from top sites. The tasting articles below focus on Riesling and other white wine varieties as few of the red wines have been released yet. The photo, courtesy of the VDP, shows the 2016 harvest at Weingut Reinhold Haart in the Mosel.
