West London Wine School: The Wines of Fess Parker – Santa Barbara

Thursday 22 September 2016

,

We are delighted to welcome Tim Snider, the winery President of Fess Parker, for an exquisite tasting of Santa Barbara wines specifically focussing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Founded in 1989, the Fess Parker winery is located in the heart of Santa Barbara County, the wine region made famous by the cult movie Sideways. Starting out with a 5 acre experimental vineyard along the Foxen Canyon Road, Fess Parker and his children, Eli and Ashley, acquired vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley, Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Ynez Valley. Having just celebrated its 25th Anniversary as a family-owned winery, it continues to focus its efforts on producing small lot, high quality wines from Burgundian and Rhône varietals.

We will taste several wines ranging from £15-£40 including single vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays all showcasing the wonderful wines sourced around Los Angeles. This is also a great opportinity to meet the man behind the winery!
