Elaine Chukan Brown joined JancisRobinson.com in 2015 to beef up our coverage of American wine. After a stint as a commercial fisherman in their native Alaska they became an academic philosopher, writing a dissertation on what it means to be indigenous (topical for students of vine varieties).
