There is considerable variation in the amounts charged by different merchants and professional warehouse operations. Merchants in general quote lower rates than the professionals, presumably in an attempt to lure customers to buy wine through them - or perhaps because they don't know quite as well as the professionals exactly what is involved in providing this service.
