Respectable rather than rousing is how I would describe this selection of wines shown by the Union des Grands Crus in London this month. There were no first growths and quite a few members of the UGC chose not to show their wines, as per usual. However, when I compared my impressions of the wines that were available with how I described them en primeur, I notice that many scored a little more highly, even if only by a notch.
