Last week we published an article by novelist-turned-wine-writer Jay McInerney on his latest adventures eating out in Chicago. Today, we publish an abridged extract from his latest book The Juice, a collection of his recent writings about wine. This is from the final chapter, the only one that has never been published before, about his editor and minder Lora Zarubin when he wrote a regular column for the now defunct American magazine House & Garden.
