The Magnificent Seven may be the name of the 1960 western directed by John Sturges, but in the following article my own magnificent seven are inspiring people who I think have changed luminously the rather static and traditionally oriented way of expressing wine. They have gone one step beyond the conventional tasting methodology and have applied creativity and deep thought to change the way impressions of wine are expressed.
