Guigal's first releases from Nalys

The name Guigal is synonymous with the northern Rhône, and Côte Rôtie in particular. Yet they have been making a red from the quintessential southern Rhône appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape since 1946, and last year they made headlines by purchasing one of its largest estates, Domaine de Nalys.

This has given them not only a new brand, the now renamed Château de Nalys, but improved access to fruit, allowing them to produce a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape under the main Guigal brand for the first time. There are now therefore six Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines from the Guigal stable, three of each colour.
