The Sindicato del Gusto (Taste Union), founded about 10 years ago, is a group of top food and wine journalists whose members include well-known names on the Spanish gastronomic scene, such as Federico Oldenburg, Maximiliano Pollés, José Peñín and Carmen Fuentes.
