Vin Santo – an immersion in diversity

A detailed look at one of Tuscany's most distinctive, if varied, wines. Umbria specialises in it too. 

While Walter was tasting through the Chianti Classico wines on offer at this year’s Collezione 2019 tastings both diligently and far more comprehensively than I could manage, I took the opportunity to have a close look at the region’s much less well known Vin Santo wines.
