Max is a highly garlanded writer based in Melbourne, author of several very successful books and regular contributor to a number of print titles. Early in 2017, after 19 years writing for The Australian, he became wine correspondent of the Australian Financial Review. He has a particular sympathy for organic and biodynamic production and is an accomplished mandolin player to boot.
