Grignan-les-Adhémar

Formerly Côteaux du Tricastin. The northernmost wine-growing AOC in the southern Rhône. After the accident at the Tricastin Nuclear Power Center in July 2008, the name Coteaux du Tricastin wine became negatively associated with the nuclear power plant and affected sales. In June 2010 the INAO allowed the change to Grignan-Les-Adhémar effective from the 2010 vintage.
