Certified organic. Eight-year-old Chenin Blanc planted on loamy, sandy, limestone soils with flint on the surface. Fermented and aged 18 months in 300- and 400-litre barrels.
Aromatically a little less focused than the palate with a slightly oxidative, appley, creamy opening and then a citrus follow through. Palate minerally, tense and tonic with a clear citrus flavour. Prefer the palate at the moment. (JL)
