18 Jan – Major update: According to Italian wine blogs such as this, Walter Speller reports, Gambero Rosso is to be transformed into a not-for-profit foundation 'for the study, assessment, development and promotion of Italian wine and food'. This fondazione will be a non profit organisation open to national and international institutions and organisations as well as individuals, who will contribute in 'an authoritative way to our world'.
