In June 2015 Morrisons was voted International Wine Challenge (IWC) Supermarket of the Year. This was an undoubted feather in the cap of the wine-buying team headed by Mark Jarman. At their press tasting in mid October, the Morrisons team was (naturally) feeling very positive about wrenching this accolade from perennial winners Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.
