Greco

Like Grecanico and Grechetto, presumed originally a Greek vine. In fact no relationship to any current Greek varieties can be found and it is now known that the name has been used for a wide variety of different vines, including those responsible for the sturdy Greco di Tufo in Campania and the extraordinary sweet Greco di Bianco in Calabria.
