Burgundy specialist Sarah Marsh MW organises regular horizontal tastings of mature burgundy in London for a mix of interested professionals. Bless her because these tastings are truly unusual now that burgundy prices are going through the roof. Liv-Ex issued a burgundy market report this week pointing out that a bottle of Dom de la Romanée-Conti burgundy costs almost 10 times as much as a first growth Bordeaux (and they're not cheap).
