2007 California Cabs – a second helping
The 2007 vintage was one in which most California Cabernet Sauvignon producers made delicious and, in many cases, superb wines. Even the value-priced companies produced competent – and sometimes exciting – Cabs. See my first 2007 Cal Cab report for the back story. Here is a second helping of 2007 Cabernet tasting notes, with more to come as the wines become available for evaluation.
Adelaida Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 Paso Robles 15 Drink 2013-2020
Brooding and dense, with dark plum, bittersweet chocolate and anise showing. Grippy tannins and a touch of heat. 14.9% (LM)
