During Nebbiolo Prima I had rather looked forward to a vertical tasting of two estates, Cordero di Montezemolo and Rivetto, that had been organised in parallel. While the two have little in common with regard to site (Cordero is based in La Morra while Rivetto is in Serralunga), it appeared that the vertical was the brainchild of the youngest scions of the two families, Enrico Rivetto and Alberto Cordero di Montezemolo, who had met at college while studying oenology.
