The following 75 German wines, all imported into the UK by ABS Wine Agencies, were tasted in London last month. They're mainly 2012s but there are some 2011s, the odd 2010 and, among the reds from Rudolf Fürst, Karl H Johner and – a new agency to make our Ahr-based German wine specialist Michael Schmidt's heart beat faster – Jean Stodden, wines as far back as 2007.
