As part of last week's London Burgundy Week, organised by Jason Haynes of Flint Wines to celebrate the consumption of burgundy, we held a Paulée for Purple Pagers last Friday night and had a great evening. Thanks to Jason's kind donation of a magnum of Heitz-Lochardet Chassagne Maltroie 2014 as an aperitif, a total of 18 wines were served to 16 burgundy lovers and all but one badly TCA-affected bottle were in excellent shape.
