Perrin Family 2020s and older treasures

Low-trained Grenache vines at Beaucastel

Lots to savour and anticipate here.

Following Jancis's review of Tardieu-Laurent's 2020s, and in anticipation of James Lawther MW's report on both the northern and southern Rhône in this very good vintage, here are my notes on 15 wines from the Perrin Family's 2020s, including Ch de Beaucastel, the 'Crus' and their excellent, well-differentiated Sélections Parcellaires. (The photo is taken from the Beaucastel website. I wouldn't like to tend to vines this close to the ground.)

We were also treated to their Muse de Miraval rosé and seven wines from older vintages, not least the wonderfully aromatic Hommage...
