Last summer a galaxy of fine-wine producers were invited to the Rheingau to celebrate the smart new winery extension to Robert Weil (see Rheingau 2011s revisited and A yen for quality). They were each asked to supply a magnum of one of their best wines to present to and share with their fellow guests at an extended morning tasting before the big evening party pictured left.
