Esoteric blends, plus exotica from Bhutan to Japan in this month's round-up from Richard.
When trade fair VinExpo comes to town (Singapore in my case), the entire wine world assembles with it. Blending is therefore a convenient theme for this collection, with particular emphasis on wines blended beyond the normal boundaries.
Penfolds' latest example is pictured above: a 50:50 blend of Grange, their flagship Shiraz, with Hermitage, La Chapelle from the northern Rhône, part of the Paul Jaboulet Âiné stable.
