Andy writes The wine range at Waitrose – the food retailer arm of the UK’s John Lewis Partnership – continues to be impressive. At the autumn tasting I attended, although the range had been restricted to 145 lines, there was a healthy proportion of novelty, with the majority of wines delivering a high standard of quality.
