The Vintage 2007 is a truly exciting year in the Rhône Valley. The wines are uniformly excellent, from relatively humble Vins de Pays up to the grandest Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This grand evening will discover a selection of the key 'Cru' wines such as Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Châteauneuf du Pape from this stellar vintage.
Robert Parker, an effusive fan of the region despite his much more closely publicised association with Bordeaux, showered the vintage with praise and lots of points. And with over ten years in bottle these wines will be climbing towards their peak displaying a complex set of fresh to mature aromas and flavours.
