Following the release of a few 2008 prestige cuvées and them receiving top scores from the worlds leading wine critics, we thought we should look at 2008 vs 2009. By doing so, hopefully we will reveal how good 2009 is, but also the superb ageing potential of the 2008's. You will be able to rate each champagne on our own live scoring app on your phone or tablet and we will present the stats of your voting as we go through the night. We have eight pairs of 2008 and 2009 champagne, tasting blind with us all and sharing her insights Jancis Robinson MW, the world's leading wine journalist, author, presenter and critic will direct us through the evening.
