Online Tasting - A tour of the Rhône Valley

Some of the best and best value wines in France can be found along the banks of the river Rhône. Here is a great opportunity to sample a selection of them in the comfort of your own home! Join Manchester Wine School owner Simon Woods to taste through a specially selected trio of wines provided by Kwoff in Bury. The Rhône offers everything from crisp sparkling wines to the sweet nectar that is Vin de Paille, from delicate rosés to long-lived and burly reds. The three wines we’ll try will only scratch the surface of this fascinating region but they’ll hopefully whet your appetite for further exploration. You only need to try a small sample of each – we’ll be giving you tips for how to keep the opened bottles in good condition for another day. The price for all three wines including delivery is £45** – you’ll need to place your order by Saturday May 9th to allow time for delivery. We will also send instructions on how to join the meeting through the Zoom platform from a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. The session will last around an hour. ** Kwoff are also providing the wines for our online Rioja tasting on May 7th. If you’d like to order the two sets of wine for both tastings, to be delivered together, you’ll make a great saving and only pay one delivery charge, so the cost will be £85. But to take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to get your order in by May 2nd. Don't forget to add an online pass for the Rioja tasting as well.
