France 2014 – back to normal quantities?

As the 2014 harvest kicks off in the Napa Valley, Yohan Castaing and I speculate about the size of the 2014 French vintage. But as for quality, all is still to play for – JR.
Unlike the 2012 and 2013 vintages, 2014 seems to be one of the most productive of recent years. All French vineyards are expecting a much bigger crop than in 2013 and the vines are generally in good health thanks to dry, clement weather in both winter and spring.
