Ben Henshaw, founder of Indigo Wine, is the most persistent UK wine importer I know. My inbox regularly receives invitations to taste his latest finds. I don’t refuse him because his wines are generally pretty interesting, and are often available elsewhere, especially in the US. (He works closely with Eric Solomon of European Cellars of Charlotte, NC.)
Not that long ago, in a presumably pandemic-induced move, he went into selling directly to consumers online...
