We start a new series based on what Richard Hemming MW has been tasting in his base in Singapore over the previous month. You may be amazed to discover that its title was dreamt up not by the Punmeister Hemming himself but by our Andrew Morris.
I'm especially fond of the Singapour pun, since that is the French spelling of my adopted home and often features on export labels here. And I can't let this occasion pass without repeating a terrible joke that I'm pretty sure I came up with:
