The photograph above shows winemaker Maxence Dulou in the second glass from the left, who visited Singapore to pit the 2019 vintage of Ao Yun (the premium, LVMH-funded Chinese wine from Yunnan province) against three other wines in a blind tasting. I admire any winemaker who is prepared to risk such a taste-off, even more so within the constraints of a luxury corporation that usually stage-manages its events closely.
