Ch Bouscaut 2021 Pessac-Léognan

16.5

47% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec. Cask sample.
Dark, glowing crimson. Quite a rich, ripe nose. Suave palate with sufficient fruit (I wonder why their Merlot did so well?) and yet some bordeaux rigidity. Bone dry! Classic build that will always need food but the structure is fine. It’s just a little lacking density.
