Eugenio Collavini, T Friulano 2020 Collio

16.5

Full bottle 1,153 g. Collezione Privata i Podere, ie from the family's own vineyard. Friulano (ex Tocai) is the white-wine flagship of Friuli. ‘We have this grape in our hearts. As the wine warms, the 'distinctive bitter almond' that Luigi Collavini talks about becomes stronger, dancing tango with bitter citrus-peel notes. The long note on the finish is green walnut. Now to try the wine out with asparagus and the 'difficult vegetables' that Collavini said Friulano goes well with… (TC)
