Jean Durup Père et Fils 2021 Chablis
15.5
Tasted from a 10-cl mini sample bottle. pH 3.3, RS < 2 g/l.
The notes gave a TA of 4 g/l, which seems way too low for any wine, let alone Chablis, so I think it may have been a typo! Like the Drouhin Vaudon tasted alongside, very 'correct'. Wearing its Chablis uniform (and uniformity) with an earnest sense of duty. Citrus, polenta porridge, flint dust. Well-behaved Chablis but a bit too short. (TC)
