This is a pleasing, distinctive, approachable sparkling wine and a good example of the charm and freshness that can be found with the variety in this method. The aromas here carry through the palate all the way into a long finish and are quite nice. Notes of jasmine, and apricot jam flavoured with fresh pineapple spread on toasted brioche – the flavours are rich and intriguing but the weight on the palate is quite light. Nicely done.
