Scout, Nouveau Marquette 2021 Finger Lakes

16

Made using carbonic maceration to reduce tannin extraction and retain a fresh, easy-drinking, early-release style. Bottled under screwcap.
Distinctive, pronounced aromas that are uniquely hard to describe but pleasing. The palate is light, fresh, easy drinking with a long finish. It would definitely do well with a mixed holiday feast as it has the acidity and presence to keep your mouth watering and palate cleansed, while being unobtrusive enough to keep the focus on the food. There is a pleasing just-picked, firm dark-berries-with-their-seeds-intact sort of crunch to this wine that I enjoy. Worth drinking. (ECB)
