Silvaner and Lemberger stole the show at The WineBarn's latest tasting, though Tam found plenty to like among the Rieslings and the Pinots (white and red), too.
If you know where to look, Germany’s 2022 vintage offers some lovely wines. Or at least, that’s what I found at The WineBarn’s recent tasting, where more than half of the 100 wines on show came from this challenging vintage, in which producers might well have gone from calling up Australian winemakers for advice on dealing with heat and drought to researching monsoon-hardy rain gear to deal with autumn’s deluges.
