67 Pall Mall Awards – top wine communicators of 2025

67 Pall Mall Global Wine Communicator Awards winners

Our senior editor Julia Harding MW is garlanded in this year's 'Pulitzers of wine'. Above, left to right, chair of judges Elaine Chukan Brown (who collected the award on behalf of Desiree Harrison-Brown), Amelia Singer (on behalf of Vincent and Lisa Anter) and Pauline Vicard (on behalf of Felicity Carter) together with, on the right, our Julia, Marianna Hunt and Jamie Goode.

I had the great pleasure of attending this year's 67 Pall Mall Global Wine Communicator Awards in Sinfonia Smith Square on Friday. I was there to receive Sam's award should she be given it, which she wasn't – despite being on a very short shortlist for the top award both this year and last.

But in the event the most exciting thing was seeing Julia win her award and hearing how popular her award was – so well deserved. Oh, and the other great pleasure was to see our Richard Hemming MW conduct the whole thing with such aplomb. To think that not that many years ago he was a cellar rat sharing his experiences with us on JancisRobinson.com – just as Sam was to do a few years later. They are both hugely popular with fellow wine professionals, as I was constantly told by other attendees at the reception.

Full results are as follows.
