Saturday, especially Saturday of Super Bowl weekend, is a strange day to send out an important announcement, especially one from the most powerful wine commentator in the world, but perhaps I am reading too much into the timing of an email over the weekend from erobertparker.com outlining a potentially hugely significant change in responsibilities on Parker's website and his print newsletter The Wine Advocate.
