A fascinating and appetite-whetting tasting of ‘smaller than small producers’ in London in October conveniently brought together seven small to medium-size importers and some of the producers they represent. While many of the wines are made in small volumes and are apparently exclusive to these importers in the UK, most of them are still likely to be available in other countries, imported by the equally thoughtful and daring importers that seem to be flourishing around the world.
