Many apologies to any of you who tried and failed earlier today to access this site. Our hosting company DediPower (same as the Queen and Farr Vintners - which more important to you?) has just moved us on to a bigger, faster server and this had the result that some people, including me, were unable to access it for a while. The techies among you will understand exactly why.

In fact I had to wait until a few minutes ago to be able to visit my favourite website and, most importantly, none of us with a email address is currently able to send or receive emails. This includes any emails sent to the site via the Contact link below - and there may well have been hiccups with membership renewals that should have taken place in the last 24 hours.

We are extremely sorry about this and devoutly hope that normal service will be resumed as soon as possible, but this is the explanation if it seems we are being dilatory.
