This long-standing London specialist in Burgundy and German wine Howard Ripley is currently offering a wide selection of 2019 burgundies and, out of the blue, offered me the chance to taste 40 wines in the offer. I assumed they were going to be in little bottles like all those samples from their 2019 German offer that I tasted last summer but in fact they turned out to be pristine...
